YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine which is owned by Google. Google made a strategic business move when they purchased YouTube as they knew the trend was moving toward video and social media site searches.
Here's a little tip ... Google will index a video within 10 minutes of submission and it takes ~ 6-8 weeks sometimes 6 months for Google to index a website.
